The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), UK - Points Simulator

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) were going through a period of substantial change in which they were looking to reshape the structure of policing in Northern Ireland for the future. To ensure the decisions they made were meaningful and beneficial to the public they invited the public to come and have their say on how they'd choose to allocate police resources to the services they valued most.

The public were given 100 points and asked to allocate points to the services they valued the most, understanding that a trade-off would need to be made in the form of other services receiving less funding or resources in order to support services within the budget.
