Derby City Council, UK - Budget Simulator

Overview

Derby City Council in the UK have used Simulator on a number of occasions to involve their citizens in the ongoing budget challenge.

Using a budget Simulator they invited the public to have a go at balancing the books - stepping in to the shoes of the Finance Director for the day and prioritising the services they valued the most whilst understanding that to improve some services, others must be reduced.
