City of Wolverhampton Council, UK - Budget Simulator
Overview
Like all local authorities in the UK The City of Wolverhampton Council have had to make significant savings and come up with innovative ways to make the budget stretch.
Since 2010 they've already made savings in excess of £235 million yet there's still more to be done.
In 2020 the council calculated that they needed to make savings of £20 million over the next three years so opted to use a budget Simulator to find out where the publics priorities lay, and what increase to some costs they'd be willing to accept in order to balance the budget.
