Overview

The City of Stonnington in Victoria, Australia, were heading into a period of financial planning for the year ahead (2022/23) and wanted to make it easier for their citizens to get involved in setting their priorities for their future and to help inform budgeting decisions moving forward.

Because of this they opted to use budget simulator which allowed them to display the services, resources and trade-offs that need to be considered when making decisions on financial investment moving forwards.

Services under consideration included: Waste collection, Traffic and parking, Children and family services and their libraries and local history.
