Bristol City Council, UK - Points Simulator
Overview
Bristol City Council in England used a Points Simulator to involve the public in prioritising transport options for the city and outlying region. Many options ranging from mass transit schemes to more cycle paths were put forward and participants were asked to select the options they favoured the most.
Having only a limited amount of points available to allocate meant that respondents would have to make tough decisions and drop some services to make way for the ones they valued the most.
