Overview

Planning for a community can be challenging work. Effective planning takes in to account the voices and priorities of everyone to ensure resources are allocated to the services that benefit the community the most. But finding a solution that enables everyone to have a say is a challenge in itself. That's where Simulator can help. 

Community Planning Aberdeen is the name for the local partnership in Aberdeen made up of public, private and third sector organisations as well as community members. They wanted to find out what citizens in the region prioritise the most, and what's most important to them so that they can better inform the City's Local Outcome Improvement Plan.

Using Simulator allowed them to present the same options to a much wider audience compared to more traditional methods of engagement, and capture the priorities of the many, not the few, in order to shape the direction of community planning in Aberdeen City.
