Overview

Every year Aberdeen City Council must produce a balanced budget for running public services.

That task is becoming ever harder, with costs expected to exceed income in the years ahead. To help inform the difficult decisions that will be taken by Elected Members, Aberdeen City Council launched a two-phase consultation. 

In this, Phase 1, they were asking respondents to tell them what they think the spending priorities should be. 

The results of phase 1 will be used to inform the direction and context of phase 2, and help to provide a clearer understanding for spending and investment for this years budget.
